Line Pipe Coating
The coating system is widely used in oil and gas pipe line construction, providing excellent corrosion resistance, good performance of anti-friction, anti mechanical damage and heat insulation, and long service life.
Generally, line pipe coating includes external coating and internal coating. The external coating is applied to improve the corrosion resistane and mechanical property and to prevent the heat radiation of line pipe. The internal coating provides a smooth internal surface with the cured and mechanically robust anticorrosion coat which improves flow rates, decreases fluid resistance, reduces pipe cleaning times and prolongs service life of transportation pipe line.
In the mid-1990s, China imported complete advanced sets of pipe coating lines from Dutch, US, Australia and Germany. Now, the coatings made in China have been used for some main oil and gas pipelines at home and abroad.
